My wife and I both graduated from Alta High School and have watched Draper City grow over the years. After completing an LDS mission, undergraduate work at the University of Utah and then law school in Oregon, we moved back to Utah and settled in Draper to raise our four awesome kids — Emma, Dallas and his wife Kara, James and Grace.
We have always been involved in the Draper community in one way or another – from coaching baseball, lacrosse or football to serving on the Draper Days Committee to being founding members of Draper Haunted Hallow. We love living in Draper and the sense of community inherent to our city.
In addition to serving as Mayor, I am an attorney in private practice right here in Draper. I also serve as the appointee of the Salt Lake County Mayors to the Utah Transit Authority Board of Trustees. I previously served six years on the Draper City Council, and I have been involved in our community through many political campaigns over the years – mainly for local candidates since their efforts hit closest to home.
My hobbies include mountain biking on our amazing trails, coaching youth sports and flying as commercial-rated pilot.
